Michael Toscano leads the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) – it’s the largest trade association dedicated to unmanned systems and robotics. He will bring a unique industry perspective to the conference.
This is a chance to hear his take on the proliferation of unmanned aerial systems domestically; the role of industry in the transition from traditionally foreign use to, now, domestic use as well; and how political and cultural realities are interacting with the business of building flying robots.
Before joining AUVSI, Mr. Toscano was Program Manager for Research and Development for Nuclear Security in the Office of the Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of Defense for Nuclear Matters. He has years of experience with physical security and defense, and has served as adviser on a variety of committees on defense and protection.
We welcome Mr. Toscano to DARC and eagerly anticipate his talk.
